The Cobra Jr. pitching machine is the most affordable and reliable dual purpose (baseball & softball) single-wheel pitching machine on the market. Throwing either leather or dimpled machine balls, you get fantastic accuracy, portability and utility with the Cobra Jr.. Using the Cobra Jr.'s variable speed dial, you will be able to fine-tune pitching speeds from 30-60mph (at 60') using leather or machine baseballs and 30-55mph using leather or machine softballs (the Cobra Jr. uses either 11" or 12" softballs). These speeds are attainable from 60', 45' or practically any distance you choose. For instance, at Little League distance (45' from the plate) using a regulation baseball, you can get speeds in excess of 70mph! Using a regulation softball from 45', you can get fast-pitch results as low as 30mph and as high as 55mph! You can also adjust the loft of the softball for slow-pitch, attaining a pitch with a high arc at the lower speeds. Easily assembled, you adjust from baseball to softball mode by reversing the legs. You then loosen two bolts on the feed chute, adjust the chute, re- tighten the bolts and you're ready to go. It couldn't be simpler or quicker. And for defensive practice, the head adjusts up or down for grounders and flyballs. The Cobra Junior Combo is easy to set up and transport (60 lbs). It runs on 110-120 volt AC electricity (60 Hz) and you can plug it into a standard 110v wall outlet, extension cord or 120v generator. This is the perfect pitching machine for families with both softball and baseball players.
